Women Empowerment
Self Help groups are made to empower the status of women in the family. This also promotes equal opportunities for women in the decision making and family responsibilities. Entrepreneurship activities are held especially for those who are at home, so that they can fetch income for the family in their leisure time
Livelihood Programs
Ashalaya conducts various livelihood programs to develop social-economic conditions of the surroundings of its presence. Programs such as employment linked trainings, entrepreneurship and job placements supports are key activities. Awareness program in the villages form part of this activity.

Early Learning and Bridge School
Children from 3 to 6 years old from economically backward classes are brought together and are taught early education with the structured learning processes. This program also aims at mainstreaming the drop out children to Govt Schools
Support to Migrant Communities
People from different parts of the country migrate to Bangalore Rural and surroundings in search of jobs. Most of them are settled with quarry works. Ashalaya supports such people with various intervention to help them and their children as well to remain safe physically, mentally and emotionally. Non-Formal education centers help the children to be in touch with education and they are supported with midday meals.

Education Support and Hostel
The students who are deprived of quality education are supported with academic scholarship programs. About 100 candidates are regularly supported with their school fees and necessary stationaries. Foster home is another activities to support girl children from of minor age.
